Established in 2012, Jones Services Removals & Storage is owner-managed by husband-and-wife duo Mark & Kate. As a family-run business, we put our heart and soul into every move. This may sound cheesy, if not a incredibly cliche, yet never-the-less, it’s true. Every move matters to us.
This being said, we’ve also been in business now for some time, which means two things. The first, we have standards, and they’re high! Secondly, we understand that our potential customers have different home removal needs, concerns, and budgets.
Therefore, without compromising on our standards, we aim to be different to your average removal company. We spent a lot of time researching what our customers needed, and how we could add value to their moves. Our removal services form the core of our business and we are extremely proud of the value-for-money options we provide as your local removal company.

By starting with a home survey, we are able to meet you face-to-face before your home move. This not allows us to learn what your exact removal/storage requirements are. We can also discuss any of your concerns and help resolve these with you. We approach our work with a “no two jobs are the same” philosophy

We ensure that your goods are properly packed and protected to make sure they are moved from ‘a’ to ‘b’ carefully and professionally. To do this we use specialist removal covers, proper protective equipment, and have an expertly trained team.

With nearly 20 years removal experience amongst our team, there is no removal conundrum we cannot solve! As a removal company, we have the benefit of a whole team’s skill-set. We can then put this to use during every home move to ensure we work out the best solution for you.

MEET THE TEAM
MARK & RYAN
Mark is your main man; he’ll be the one popping round to do your quote, delivering boxes and likely running your move. He’s the gaffer but isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty and still likes the graft! Ryan is Mark’s son. He joined the business as a porter but is working his way up as foreman. Both Mark and Ryan are life-long Wolverhampton Wanderers fans (which will be no surprise when you hear their charming Black Country accents!)
KATE
If you call in to the office, you will most likely be speaking Mark’s wife, Kate. She’ll also put together your quotations, deal with any moving queries and can provide top-notch moving advice. Kate juggles the business with being a mom to Lily, the smallest and cutest member of the Jones Services team.
GAVIN, JOSH & LEWIS
On the job, you will be met with our expert team of movers. The team currently includes Gavin, a 7.5t driver, plus porters Josh and Lewis. However, we are often supported by our partners such as Mark (different to the gaffer Mark) and Jon. These guys are self-employed but are like extensions of the Jones Services team.
At the end of your move, you’ll meet our company mascot, Luton, who travels up and down the country with the team. We’ll ask you to strike a pose with him as we snap a shot of you and your family in your new home.
OUR STORY
The history of our company begins with the 2012 Olympics.
Owner Mark had recently quit his job as a car sprayer to take the opportunity of a life time to work in London at the famous athletics event.
When it was over, Mark didn’t want to spend his days in the inside of a spray booth. He had also decided that he wanted to take the plunge and work for himself, something he had always wanted to. Whilst working as a sprayer, Mark had bought himself a small van and was doing odd ‘man and van’ jobs on the side. (Often with his sons, Jordan & Ryan riding shot gun!)
With his desire to be fully self-employed, Mark took his side-hustle full time and so Jones Services Removals and Storage was born.
It wasn’t long before Mark upgraded his little van to a 3.5t Luton. As business grew, he was joined by his first employee, and then another. Before he knew it, his ‘man and van’ had turned into a small removal team with a fleet of vans to meet demand.
Kate joined Mark in 2018 to help with the quoting and box deliveries. However, with the arrival of baby Lily in 2022, Kate now works mostly from home, looking after the ‘back end’ of things. However, you’ll likely still catch her on email or on the phone as she still heads up the customer service end of the business.
Today, Kate & Mark have a fleet of vehicles and a reliable team of experienced movers behind them. Jones Services also offers customers home removal, house clearance and self-storage services. They have built solid relationships with other businesses, creating partnerships with the likes of Taylor’s Estate Agents, Lok n Store and Storage King. All of which ensure the business provides top-end, value-for-money removal and storage options.
