ABOUT US & OUR COMPANY
Established in 2012, Jones Services Removals & Storage is owner-managed by the soon-to-be Mr & Mrs, Mark & Kate. As a family-run business, we put our heart and soul into every move. This may sound melodramatic, if not a incredibly cliche, yet never-the-less, it’s true. Every move matters to us.
This being said, we’ve also been in business now for some time, which means two things. The first, we have standards, and they’re high! Secondly, we understand that our potential customers have different home removal needs, concerns, and budgets.
Therefore, without compromising on our standards, we aim to be different to your average removal company. We spent a lot of time researching what our customers needed, and how we could add value to their moves. After some time making sure we got things right, we finalised our Gold, Silver and Bronze packages. Our removal packages now form the core of our business and we are extremely proud of the service we offer.
The history of our company begins with the 2012 Olympics.
Owner Mark had recently quit his job as a car sprayer to take the opportunity of a life time to work in London at the famous athletics event.
When it was over, Mark didn’t want to spend his days in the inside of a spray booth. He had also decided that he wanted to take the plunge and work for himself, something he had always wanted to. Whilst working as a sprayer, Mark had bought himself a small van and was doing odd ‘man and van’ jobs on the side.
With his desire to be fully self-employed, Mark took his side-hustle full time and so Jones Services Removals and Storage was born.
It wasn’t long before Mark upgraded his little van to a 3.5t Luton. As business grew, he was joined by his first employee, and then another. Before he knew it, his ‘man and van’ had turned into a small removal team with a fleet of vans to meet demand.
With wife-to-be, Kate, joining Mark in 2018 to look after the ‘back end’ of the business, it continues to grow from strength-to-strength.
Today, Mark has a reliable team of experienced movers behind him and offers customers home removal, house clearance and self-storage services. He’s also built solid relationships with other businesses, creating partnerships with the likes of Taylor’s Estate Agents and Storagebase.
WHO’S BEHIND YOUR MOVE?
MEET THE TEAM
Mark is your main man; he’ll be the one popping round to do your quote and will organise the move behind the scenes. If you call in to the office, you will catch either Mark or Kate, his wife to be. Kate predominately looks after the marketing, but assists Mark in the day-to-day operations and logistics. Come moving day, Mark will head up the project management and will be there with you for the duration of the move. On site, he’ll be supported by his right-hand-man, Glyn. Often acting as foreman, Glyn has been with us for some time now and knows our processes inside-out. Our newest recruit is Nick, who is also Glyn’s nephew (we truly are a family run business!). Nick helps Glyn and Mark on the larger jobs where an extra pair of hands goes a long way.
At the end of your move, you’ll meet our company mascot, Luton, who travels up and down the country with the team. We’ll ask you to strike a pose with him as we snap a shot of you and your family in your new home.

By starting with a home survey, we are able to meet you face-to-face before your home move. This not allows us to learn what your exact removal/storage requirements are. We can also discuss any of your concerns and help resolve these with you. We approach our work with a “no two jobs are the same” philosophy
It might sound cheesy but we put our heart and soul into every move. We ensure that your goods are properly packed and protected to make sure they are moved from ‘a’ to ‘b’ carefully and professionally. To do this we use specialist removal covers, proper protective equipment, and have an expertly trained team.
With nearly 20 years removal experience amongst our team, there is no removal conundrum we cannot solve! As a removal company, we have the benefit of a whole team’s skill-set. We can then put this to use during every home move to ensure we work out the best solution for you.
