Firstly, we’d like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family well during these unprecedented times.
Like all businesses, we have had to think long and hard about how best to keep our staff and our customers safe. It’s fair to say that we’ve faced a moral dilemma between not wanting to let our customers down, when their move date has been confirmed, and feeling as though we should stop trading altogether. Therefore, we have come to what we believe is the best compromise.
Removal Customers
For any customers who have already had a quotation and a date is confirmed with your solicitor, we will still go ahead with your move.
This being said, we are working with each customer individually. We are aiming to ensure we can comply with the 2 metre social distancing rules wherever possible. (Please don’t be offended if we ask you to sit in the garden whilst we work; we’re having such lovely weather and we’d like you to make the most of it).
Furthermore, our employees are all following social distancing rules when we are not undertaking a home removal and have been issued with PPE to wear during any moves.
Storage Customers
We have been in contact with our providers. They have all have confirmed that access can be arranged to load your belongings. Each storage provider is issuing slightly different guidelines so please contact us directly if you have any concerns.
New Customers
For any new quote requests we receive then our preference would be to have a video call. This means that the home survey can be conducted remotely. Where this isn’t possible, we will send you an inventory via email for you to return.
Over the coming weeks we will continue to follow Government Guidelines closely. We will update any customers directly if these updates will affect them.
In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns then please do not hesitate to get in touch.
