Looking for a removal company that will also take care of the packing of your belongings? Here at Jones Services Removals & Storage, we provide a complete range of removal services, including part and full home packing.
Whether you are physically unable to pack or simply do not have the time, we will take care of the careful packing, wrapping and protecting of all of your items. Our fully trained team of removal professionals will work room-by-room, filling each box and labelling with the contents. This makes unpacking at your new home as easy as possible too!
We always aim to pack the day before your move, providing this is the most convenient for you. This means that you can live ‘as normal’ right up until moving day. What’s more, any dismantle and reassembly required is included, as standard and totally free of charge!

COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE
Every one of our moves come with insurance, free of charge. However, when selecting our packing service then you also get comprehensive insurance included as standard. This means that all of the items we pack for you are fully insured. There are some items we are not insured to pack (such as jewellery or personal documentation). Our expert surveyor will go through this with you in full during your quotation visit.
MATERIALS WE USE
All of the boxes we provide are to hire as we recycle them for future moves. Not only does this make it cheaper for you but it is better for the environment as well! Specialist packing paper is used for all crockery and glassware. We then use bubble wrap to protect any large breakables and export wrap where required. Finally, all furniture items will be protected using our bespoke removal covers or blankets and clothes will be packed away in our wardrobe boxes.Â
PART-PACKING SERVICE
We have found that some customers are happy to pack the majority of their home but sometimes struggle with particular areas, such as the kitchen. Therefore, we can provide a cost for a part-pack only. We will still aim for this to take place the day before the move. However, in most instances we will send a 2-person crew and allow for just half a day. All materials will still be provided and comprehensive insurance is available for the items we pack.
TOP TIPS WHEN SELECTING OUR HOME PACKING SERVICE
Customers are often surprised by just how quickly and efficiently our packing teams work. If you choose this service, we will be taking care of the packing for you. However, there are a few essentials you may need between the pack day and the move itself, such as:
- Enough clothes to last between the pack day and the move.
- Bath towels, wash cloths and toiletries.
- A few plates, cups and cutlery
- Food, tea/coffee
- Cleaning materials, hoover, etc
One of the team will always ask if you have put these items aside at the start of the pack day. They will then ensure these are put to one side so they are not packed during the day.
